WEIRTON – The boil order issued Tuesday for a portion of Palisades Drive has been lifted, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.

The order was lifted, effective 10 a.m. today, according to a notice issued this afternoon. It was put into effect for the area of Palisades Drive between Elmhurst Drive and Hanlin Way following work on a water line in the area.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas may resume using water without any restrictions or requirement to boil their water.
