NEW CUMBERLAND – While officials continue their investigation of social media-based threats this week, Hancock County Schools will be operating through remote learning Thursday.
The announcement was made by Superintendent Dan Enich tonight through the school district’s school messenger system and a post on the Hancock County Schools Facebook page.
Elementary school pupils are to check DoJo for their assignments, while Oak Glen Middle, Oak Glen High and Weir High are to check with their teachers through TEAMS. Weir Middle will have lessons posted on Live Grades after 10 a.m. Thursday.
Enich said a decision about after-school activities will be announced sometime Thursday.
