Resource fair set for Oct. 8 in Wheeling

WHEELING – The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, in partnership with its 26 local partner agencies, will host a resource fair with a goal of connecting individuals and families with local resources and services.

The event, which is open to the public, will be held 10 a.m. to noon, Oct. 8 at Family Service of the Upper Ohio Valley, 2200 Main St., Wheeling.

Local organizations will provide information on topics including healthcare, housing, financial assistance, employment, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with experts, learn about available programs, and receive guidance on how to access services that can improve their quality of life.

“The Resource Fair is designed to support our community by ensuring that individuals have access to the help they need,” said Staci Stephen, executive director of United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. “Our partner agencies are committed to making a positive impact, and this event is a great opportunity for anyone seeking assistance or information to connect directly with those who can provide it.”
