WEIRTON – The boil order issued this morning for the area of Riverview Drive has been lifted, effective at 4:30 p.m., according to the Weirton Area Water Board.

The order had been in effect for Riverview Drive, Williams Drive and Buchanan Way, and followed work on a water line in the area.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas may resume using water without any restrictions or requirement to boil their water.
