WEIRTON - The citywide boil order in Weirton has been partially lifted, according to a notice from the Weirton Area Water Board.
Effective at 8:30 a.m. today, boil orders for downtown Weirton, Marland Heights, Weircrest, Skyview, and the Kings Creek Bowl areas of the city have been lifted, and residents and businesses in those areas may resume using water without any requirement to boil it.
All of Weirton Heights remains under the boil order until further notice.
