Members of Weirton Fire Fighters Association IAFF Local 948, including Firefighter Wayne Bonovich, left, and Lt. Jim Brueck, took part in a Fill the Helmet fund drive Wednesday, with proceeds to benefit WVU Medicine Children's Hospital. Collections were set up in the Weirton Shop N Save Plaza and near the intersection of Three Springs Drive and Park Drive, as well as through Local 948's social media pages. According to Brueck, several professional fire departments in West Virginia held similar fundraisers this week. — Craig Howell
