WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board has lifted the mandatory conservation order which has been in place since mid December.

A notice issued by the Water Board at 12:20 p.m. today, noted the lifing of the conservation order was effective immediately.

Customers of the Weirton Area Water Board “are asked to exercise prudent, reasonable judgement in the use of water and voluntarily conserve water use in order to minimize the need for a subsequent conservation order.”
