Boil order issued for Kings Creek Bowl area of Weirton
WEIRTON – A boil order has been issued for the Kings Creek Bowl area of the city following work on a water line on Wall Street today.
The Weirton Area Water Board issued the order, which includes all customers in the Kings Creek Bowl area, as well as any others nearby who experienced low or no water pressure.
Those in the affected area are advised to bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. Disinfection will be verified as soon as possible, and the boil water notice will be lifted through local media notification.
