BURGETTSTOWN -- A Burgettstown man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Hanover Township Friday night.
Michael Brent Miller, 28, was traveling westbound on U.S. Route 22 when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree between mile markers 3 and 4, according to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco.
A passing motorist called Washington County 911 at 9:23 p.m.
Fort Cherry EMS, along with fire departments from Hanover Township and Weirton assisted at the scene.
Miller was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
