WEIRTON – A boil order has been issued for all customers on Palisades Drive, between Elmhurst Drive and Hanlin Way, as well as any others with low or no water pressure in the area, following work on a water line today.

The order was issued by the Weirton Area Water Board.

If you live in the affected area listed above bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
