Boil order issued for Swearingen Road
WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board issued a boil order for all water customers on Swearingen Road Wednesday evening following work on a water line in the area.
The order also affects any other nearby customers who experienced low or no water pressure.
If you live in the affected area listed above bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. Disinfection will be verified as soon as possible, and the boil water notice will be lifted through local media notification.
