Members of the Rotary Club of Weirton Heights recently heard from Karen Haught, executive director of The Seeing Hand Association. Based in Wheeling, the association provides assistance and training for the blind and sight impaired. The association employs eight blind or visually impaired individuals and four sighted individuals, with work including refurbishing fire extinguishers, making mops and cane chairs, and maintaining a garden on Wheeling Island.
