Road maintenance set in Weirton

WEIRTON — The Weirton Public Works Department has announced planned maintenance for Marland Heights Road and Euclid Avenue, to take place today, Wednesday, and Friday.

Work will be performed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting. Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan their routes accordingly.

Park Board to hold special session

WEIRTON — The Weirton Board of Parks and Recreation will meet in special session at 9 a.m., Thursday, at Marland Heights Park.

The long agenda item is a discussion of Phase 1 of the Marland Heights Park capital improvement project.
