Weirton water plant to be temporarily shut down Wednesday
WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board has scheduled a temporary shutdown of the water treatment plant on Wednesday.
The shutdown, to begin at 7 a.m., is part of the ongoing upgrades to the water treatment plant and will last for approximately six hours.
The Water Board is encouraging all customers to conserve water, as much as possible, during the scheduled timeframe.
