Ryan Weld, R-Brooke, was in attendance at Monday’s meeting of Weirton Council to present $14,000 in Local Economic Development Assistance grant funding to benefit the Brooke-Hancock County Veterans Memorial Park. Weld noted the funds will be put toward improvements at the park.
