Brooke meeting canceled

WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Commission meeting, which had been set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, has been canceled.

The next meeting in regular session will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 2.

Solid waste board to meet

STEUBENVILLE — The Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority Board will hold a special meeting regarding personnel at 4 p.m. today.

The meeting will be held at the Jefferson JBGT building, 228 Technology Way, Steubenville.

GIS board to meet

STEUBENVILLE — There will be a meeting of the Jefferson County GIS Board at 1 p.m. Thursday in the fourth-floor jury room of the courthouse.

Holiday garbage schedule set

STEUBENVILLE — The city’s Sanitation Department will be closed Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

No garbage collection will occur on Monday. During next week, garbage collection will occur one day later than usual.
