Sixteen indicted by Jefferson County grand jury

STEUBENVILLE — A Steubenville man charged in connection with a drive-by shooting and a Toronto man who allegedly forced his way into a Toronto pharmacy were among 16 individuals indicted Wednesday by a Jefferson County grand jury.

Tray’Marr Thomas Dudley Moten, 21, of 1648 Roosevelt Ave., Steubenville, was indicted for improperly discharging a firearm at a home and possession of a weapon while under a disability because his right to possess a firearm had been prohibited through a previous conviction for aggravated robbery.

Authorities said while driving by a Steubenville home on July 18, Moten fired shots into the structure, putting multiple people inside at risk of harm in an incident that appears to have been gang-related.
