WHEELING — Students planning to register for classes as part of the fall semester at West Virginia Northern Community College have until Saturday to do so.

The semester begins Monday, and the college will offer special Saturday hours this week to assist any last-minute filers.

All three campuses — Weirton, Wheeling and New Martinsville — will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, with staff available to assist with registration, advising, financial aid and other student services.

The college offices will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

“Fall classes are filling quickly, and we want to ensure every student has the opportunity to start their journey with us this semester,” said WVNCC President Daniel Mosser. “By opening on Saturday, we’re providing extra flexibility for those who may not be able to come in during the week.”

WVNCC offers a variety of associate degree and certificate programs in fields such as healthcare, business, welding, criminal justice, and more. In addition to in-person classes, WVNCC provides online and hybrid learning options to fit different schedules and learning preferences.
