WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board has issued a boil order following work on a water line on a portion of Barone Drive Extension.

The order affects the 1300 block of Barone Drive Extension, the 1300 and 1400 blocks of Overlook Drive, and any other water customers in the area experiencing low or no water pressure.

If you live in the affected areas, the Water Board advises to bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice.
