WEIRTON – The boil order issued for the area of Overbrook Drive has been lifted.

The Weirton Area Water Board reports the order, which included customers on Overbrook Drive, Garden Way, and Spring Street, was lifted, effective at 12:10 p.m. today.

It was issued Friday following work on a water line in the area.

Customers in the affected area may resume using water without any restrictions.
