Showing their colors

The Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off its Youth Leadership Weirton program Tuesday, welcoming 26 sophomores representing Weir, Oak Glen, Madonna, and Brooke high schools. Gathering at Christ United Methodist Church in Weirton, the Class of 2026 took part in a “True Colors” personality test exercise, gaining insight into their personalities and how they may relate to their skills, interests and how they interact with others. The exercise was led by Carole Scheerbaum of the Lee Day Report Center. Through the program, the students will take part in programs focused on teamwork, goal setting, ethics, and more. — Craig Howell
