Part of county Road 29 to close

MINGO JUNNCTION — The Jefferson County Engineer’s Department will close a portion of county Road 29 (McLister Road near McLister Avenue) daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

There will be no through traffic during the closed hours.

Edison meeting reschedules

HAMMONSDVILLE — The Edison Local Board of Education could not meet in regular session Thursday due to a power outage. Therefore, the meeting date has been changed.

The board will now meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stanton Elementary.
