Members of Weirton Rotary were visited by Noreen and Richard Saxon Wednesday, who spoke about their efforts to organize a walk to raise awareness of childhood cancer and leukemia. The walk will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, beginning at the Harmon Creek trail station of the Panhandle Rail Trail. Those wishing to participate may do so at any point during the designated hours. Bracelets and ribbons will be available for sale at a cost of $2 each, with proceeds going to WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center.
