WEIRTON – A boil order has been issued for the Country Club Estates area of Weirton, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.

The order, issued just after 11 a.m. today, includes Country Club Boulevard, Roselawn Drive, Judi Drive, Sherry Court, Terry Court, Sharon Drive, Danby Court, and Woodview Drive, as well as any other customers in the area who experienced low or no water pressure.

It follows work on a water line on Country Club Boulevard.

If you live in the affected area listed above bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. Disinfection will be verified as soon as possible and the boil water notice will be lifted through local media notification.
