Weirton Rotary members, last week, heard from David Artman, CEO of WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center. A long-time area resident and Air Force veteran, Artman earned a degree in respiratory therapy from West Virginia Northern Community College, opting to work in Pittsburgh and further his education before returning to Weirton. The hospital is in the midst of several projects, including expansion of the emergency department and introducing new specialty areas of care.
