Organizers of the Oct. 5 childhood cancer and leukemia awareness walk, held on the Panhandle Rail Trail, were able to raise $3,080 through the support of the community. Noreen Saxon, pictured at center, recently presented proceeds from the walk to representatives of WVU Medicine, with funds set to go to the WVU Children’s Hospital Kids Fund.
