WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board has issued a boil order for the area of Kingsview Drive following work on a water line earlier today.

The order is in effect for Kingsview Drive, Lakeview Drive, Glenview Drive, and any other customers in the area who experienced low or no water pressure.

If you live in the affected areas listed above bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. Disinfection will be verified as soon as possible, and the boil water notice will be lifted through local media notification.
