WEIRTON – A boil order has been issued for the area of Kingsview Drive following a repair to a water line earlier today.

The Weirton Area Water Board issued the boil order for Kingsview Drive, Lakeview Drive, and Glenview Drive, as well as any other customers in the area experiencing low or no water pressure.

If you live in the affected area listed above bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. Disinfection will be verified as soon as possible and the boil water notice will be lifted through local media notification.
