WEIRTON – The boil order issued Wednesday for water customers on California Avenue has been lifted, effective at 1:15 p.m. today, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.
The order followed repairs to a series of water lines in the city’s distribution system, and also included any customers nearby who experienced a loss of water pressure.
Customers affected by this boil order may resume using their water without restrictions.
