Lunch with Santa set for Dec. 13

WEIRTON — The Weirton Board of Parks and Recreation will host its annual Lunch with Santa at the Millsop Community Center Dec. 13.

Guests will be welcomed from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a lunch to include a hot dog, slice of pizza, chips, cookie and a drink for all children ages 2 to 10 in attendance. Pre-registration is required to attend, and must be done by Dec. 11 by calling (304) 797-8520 — use Option 1 when calling. There will be a limit of 75 children.

Parents or guardians may use their own cameras or digital devices to take a picture of their child with Santa, and attendees will receive a coloring book, crayons and a candy cane.

Hancock County Savings Bank serves as the main sponsor for the event.

Solid waste board to meet

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority Board will hold its Regular monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Belmont JBGT building, 67895 Pickering Road, St. Clairsville.

Ross Township trustees to meet

IRONDALE — The Ross Township Board of Trustees will hold a special reorganization meeting at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 22 for the purpose of reviewing policies and procedures for 2026.

This will be followed by a regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the township garage, located at 6172 county Road 54, Irondale.
