WEIRTON – Some areas of the city may experience low or no water pressure as a result of multiple water line breaks, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.

The Water Board issued a notice just after noon today of multiple water line breaks.

Those areas being affected include California Avenue, Roselawn Drive, the 100 block of Country Club Boulevard, and the 200 and 300 blocks of Liberty Avenue.

Work is estimated to be completed in four hours. Once water service is restored, those affected areas will be under a boil order.
