Recognizing accomplishments
Follansbee Council and Mayor Scott McMahon recognized members of the Brooke High School chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America Monday for winning the Robin Hayhurst School Pitch Competition. Working in two teams, the five students pitched ideas for inventions and won $2,500 for each team to develop them and $25,000 for Bruins Helping Bruins, the school’s food pantry.
