Weirton garbage collection schedule adjusted
WEIRTON – As a result of the weekend’s weather, Weirton’s Public Works Department has adjusted its schedule for the collection of garbage and recyclables in the city.
The following schedule will be used:
Those usually collected on Monday will be picked up Tuesday
Tuesday collections will be picked up Wednesday.
Wednesday collections will be done Thursday.
Thursday pickup will take place Friday.
Friday collections will be held Saturday.
Officials note, this schedule is subject to change because of the weather. Updates will be posted on the city’s website and social media pages. Questions should be directed to the Public Works Department at (304) 797-8500 extensions 3002 or 3003.
