WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board has issued a boil order for all customers on East Bellview Drive, North Bellview Drive, South Bellview Drive, and West Bellview Drive, as well as any others in the area who experienced low or no water pressure Saturday.

The order follows work on a water line on East Bellview Drive.

If you are in the affected areas listed above bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. Disinfection will be verified as soon as possible, and the boil water notice will be lifted through local media notification.
