WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board has issued a boil order for customers on Hindman Lane, as well as Leech Street, Patterson Road, and any others in the area experiencing low or no water pressure.

The order was issued this morning following work on a water line on Hindman Lane.

If you live in the affected areas listed above bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. Disinfection will be verified as soon as possible, and the boil water notice will be lifted through local media notification.
