Hancock County officials took time, Thursday, to recognize Olivia Summers, an eighth-grade student at Weir Middle School, who was named the county winner of West Virginia’s “I Voted” sticker design contest, organized by the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office. Summers’ design includes a red and blue ribbon, with a background including mountains, a bridge and river. According to Hancock County Clerk Karan Valenti, the design will be used for stickers given to voters in the county as part of this year’s election.
