NEW CUMBERLAND – All Hancock County Schools will be closed Wednesday because of a planned power outage.

According to a social media post from Oak Glen High School, the outage by Mon Power is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon, Wednesday.

Students will not be required to complete a snow packet as a result of the closure. The missed instructional day will be made up during the school year.

If changes are made, families and staff will be notified.
