Members of the 2026 class of Leadership Ohio Valley, organized through the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce, took part in their government-themed session Wednesday, visiting the Hancock County Courthouse. As part of the session, class members met with county commissioners and other county officials, toured the courthouse, and sat in on a meeting of the board of equalization, as well as participated in a mock commission meeting. Members of the class met with County Clerk Karan Valenti and County Finance Director Ira Aracich, who is a 2025 Leadership graduate. — Contributed
