WEIRTON – The boil order issued Thursday for the 3300 blocks of Main Street and West Street has been lifted, effective at 2:15 p.m. today, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.

The order was issued as a result of work on a water line on West Street.

Customers in the affected areas may resume using water without any restrictions or requirement to boil their water.
