The Summit Art Gallery welcomed guests Wednesday for the opening reception of “It’s All About Birds,” a juried exhibition of artwork featuring depictions of birds and related subjects in a variety of artistic media. Juried by Mountain State native and watercolorist Jes Reger Davis, the exhibition features original works by nearly 30 artists from Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Jefferson, Belmont, and Marshall counties. The exhibit will be on display through April 9. The Summit Art Gallery is located within the offices of the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau, at 243 Three Springs Drive, Suite 17, Weirton. — Craig Howell
