Dr. J.K. Luthra visited the Weirton Rotary Club Wednesday to present plans for this year’s Weirton Festival of Nations, scheduled to be held March 21 at the Millsop Community Center. The modern Festival of Nations, planned through the Weirton Area Museum and Cultural Center, is reflective of a local celebration from 1934 to 1944, recognizing the mixture of nationalities and ethnicities which made up the community. It includes a variety of food, music, and dancing representative of numerous cultures.
