Bethany College raises more than $170K in Day of Giving

BETHANY – Bethany College celebrated the show of support from its community recently, through the raising of more than $170,000 through the college’s annual Day of Giving.

Held March 24, the Day of Giving surpassed its initial $100,000 goal, with 291 donors contributing $170,668.96 in support of the college’s programs and students.

“This remarkable Day of Giving reflects the deep pride and enduring commitment people feel for Bethany College,” said Bethany President Jamie Caridi. “Every gift represents a belief in our students and in the future of this institution. We are incredibly grateful to our alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends whose generosity will help Bethany continue to provide a transformative educational experience.”

Support for the Bethany Fund and Bison Athletics highlighted the day, with donors choosing to invest in scholarships, academic programs, campus improvements, and the student-athlete experience.

Among the day’s standout moments, according to college officials, was a $20,000 matching gift challenge for Bethany Football, made possible by two donors. The challenge inspired support for critical resources and opportunities for student-athletes.

“This year’s Day of Giving was a powerful reminder of what it means to be a Bethanian,” said Vice President for Advancement Jason Koegler. “The energy, and generosity that we saw throughout the day was truly inspiring. Because of this incredible support, we are able to continue creating impactful opportunities for our students, both in and out of the classroom.”

Momentum built throughout the day as gifts of all sizes came together to push the campaign past both milestones, demonstrating the strength and dedication of the Bethany community.
