Members of the Madonna High School softball team and representatives of this year’s Leadership Ohio Valley class were at the Millsop Community Center, Wednesday, offering help in stuffing the plastic eggs to be used in the Weirton Park Board’s Easter Egg Hunt. The egg hunt will take place at 11 a.m., April 4, with registration at the community center and the hunt on the Edwin J. Bowman Field, weather permitting. Organizers have purchased 7,000 eggs to be filled with candy and possible prizes. The egg hunt will be open to youth from toddlers to 10 years of age. This year’s major sponsor is Hancock County Savings Bank, with additional support from Starvaggi Industries and First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union. — Craig Howell
