WEIRTON – North 12th Street has been closed to traffic as a result of a major water line break in the area Saturday.

The closure stretches from the top of North 12th Street to Kings Creek Road in both directions, according to information provided by the Weirton Area Water Board.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.

In addition, residents along North 12th Street, as well as Kings Creek Road and Basil Drive, may be with reduced water or no water.
