Toronto St. Mihiel American Legion Post 86 has contributed $600 to the Jefferson County Veterans Association to support its work to upgrade their 30-year-old military park sign in Friendship Park. The project aims to improve the park for the JCVA Memorial Day program and Jefferson County’s America’s 250th anniversary celebration, in addition to renovating the Vietnam observation plane and other exhibits in the park.
