WEIRTON – A boil order has been issued by the Weirton Area Water Board following repairs to a line on Starvaggi Drive.

The order includes all customers of Starvaggi Drive, Parkview Drive, and Millsop Drive, as well as any others in the area who experienced low or no water pressure.

If you live in the affected area, bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. Disinfection will be verified as soon as possible and the boil

water notice will be lifted through local media notification.
