Several area fire departments responded to a structure fire on Sanders Hill Road Tuesday morning. Crews from the Franklin Community Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the scene at approximately 7 a.m., calling on the regional tanker task force because of the building’s remote location. A large propane tank was reportedly located near the structure but had no effect on the situation. No injuries were reported. Other departments responding included Bethany, Beech Bottom, Follansbee, Hooverson Heights, McKinleyville, Wellsburg, Avella and Brilliant.
