WELLSBURG -- Get ready for a night of spine-tingling suspense and side-splitting laughter as Brooke Hills Playhouse presents “Clue.” Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and the classic Hasbro board game, this hilarious farce-meets-murder-mystery will keep audience members guessing whodunit until the final curtain.
The story begins on a dark and stormy night at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests gather for an unusual dinner party. When their host turns up dead, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Col. Mustard race against the clock to find the killer before the body count rises.
“Clue” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals. It is based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn and written by Sandy Rustin, with additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price. Original music was composed by Michael Holland.
The show runs Friday through Sunday and Aug. 28 through Aug. 30. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays at Brooke Hills Playhouse, 140 Gist Lane (inside Brooke Hills Park), Wellsburg.
Tickets and season flex passes can be reserved or purchased directly through the theater’s official website at brookehillsplayhouse.org. For phone reservations or ticketing questions, call the box office at (304) 737-3344.
