Interstate Waste Services was the presenting sponsor for Tuesday’s 16th-annual Burger Bash. Among the employees of the company who attended the event held at Youngstown State University-Steubenville were, from left, Brian Grimes, Ashlie Grimes, Jareka Henry, Mariah Kuryn and Amanda Krupinski. Coordinated by the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, the evening featured drawings, a cornhole tournament, music by Lee the DJ, specialty drinks and a picnic-style buffet that included, of course, hamburgers. A portion of the proceeds will continue to fund the Anita Jackson Community Service Scholarships.
