This Veterans Day, Mullen's Hauling & Excavating LLC is proud to recognize and honor one of our own employees, Dominic Merritt, for his 22 years of dedicated service to our country in the United States Army.

Dominic began his military career in 1988 and continued serving until 2010, dedicating 22 years of his life to the United States Army. His service included participation in Operation Desert Storm, a significant chapter in our nation’s military history.

During his military career, Dominic served as an infantry soldier, taking on the responsibilities and demands that come with serving on the front lines. He later dedicated his final three years to serving as an Army recruiter, helping bring new soldiers into the military and encouraging others to follow the path of service.

Twenty-two years is an extraordinary commitment. It represents years of dedication, discipline, sacrifice, and putting something greater than yourself first. It means time away from family, facing challenges, accepting responsibilities, and standing alongside fellow service members through experiences that few people will ever truly understand.

While Dominic’s military career came to an end in 2010, the pride, honor, and respect that come with those 22 years of service will always remain a part of who he is.

The uniform may come off, but the honor of having served never goes away.

At Mullen's, we are proud to have Dominic as part of our team. But today, we want to recognize him for something much bigger than his position within our company. We want to recognize the years he gave to our country and the commitment he made long before becoming one of our employees.

We know that behind every veteran is a personal story filled with experiences, sacrifices, memories, and moments that cannot always be put into words. We may never fully understand everything those 22 years meant to Dominic or the sacrifices that came along with them, but we can certainly recognize the significance of his service and the dedication it took to serve for so many years.

Veterans Day is a reminder that the freedoms we enjoy come with a history of sacrifice. It is a day to pause, remember, and express our gratitude to those who answered the call to serve. It is also a reminder that the men and women who served deserve recognition, appreciation, and respect long after their time in uniform has ended.

Dominic, we want you to know how proud we are of you.

We are proud that you answered the call to serve our country. We are proud of the 22 years you dedicated to the United States Army. We are proud to recognize your service during Desert Storm, your commitment as an infantry soldier, and your time helping prepare the next generation of soldiers as a recruiter.

Most importantly, we hope you know that your service has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

On this Veterans Day, we are honored to recognize you, celebrate your service, and let you know that having a veteran like you among our employees is something we take great pride in.

From all of us at Mullen's Hauling & Excavating LLC, thank you for the 22 years you gave to our country.

We are proud of your service. We are grateful for your sacrifice. And we are honored to have you as one of our own.

HAPPY VETERANS DAY, DOMINIC MERRITT!

With gratitude and respect,
